Amazing Dissappearing Blog Posts

I have no idea if it is against blog etiquette to remove blog posts from a blog or not? If you are a regular reader of this site, you may notice that some items are missing from the most current updates. Well, there is a reason for that.

Things seem to stall quite a bit at RC for various reasons (and not just the fault of the men behind the scenes). While Chris and I are still working together on RC Wood Creations, we have not given up our day jobs in order to primarily pursue this project. This translates that we work together when we find the time. So things don't always move as fast as people assume it should.

Chris and I used to work together in the same company, but for the past few years, we had both moved into different areas of the company. Eventually, my area of the company started lay-offs because of the recession and I was eventually one of the casualties. But finding myself unemployed and with lots of free time did not mean that Chris could share the same luxury. It's now been three months since that has happened. I had a chance to figure out what I want to do with my future now that it has taken a new turn.

But having all that free time meant that I was able to tackle some wood projects of my own that Chris couldn't be involved in. The projects were successful but were being done with a different business model in mind. At first, I just posted the new projects on this blog site as I went along not really concerned about how it would look to the outsider. However, this was a misrepresentation of the works as they were not actually a product of both Chris and myself. So, when I wrote about them, I never mentioned Chris as being a part of any of them. This made him look absent and that simply wasn't the message I was trying to convey.

The solution? Separate the projects as they should have been in the first place. This way, RC Wood projects are still a collaboration of two friends and the solo work was given a new home so it could be treated equally but separately. The new home of the solo projects I have worked on myself can now be found at:

I call my other business project 'New Again' Furniture. Make sure you stop by and check it out. But keep RC bookmarked because there are still more good things to come.
